Brides may choose to wear a camouflage wedding gown for a variety of reasons. If the bride, or groom, (or both) have served in the military, or have any family or other military affiliation, the bride may choose to reflect this in her choice of wedding gown. For those who are avid outdoors persons or hunters, camo is a unique way to make a personalized statement in a bride’s wedding gown. Some couples may choose camo apparel to add an original touch to their outdoor wedding.
The crossover from functional garments into a stylized fashion trend of camouflage clothing has also influenced dress styles, and women may choose to have either a completely camouflage wedding dress, or a gown with camo accents for her wedding to make a fresh style statement for her wedding. In an age where wedding ‘rules’ are much more relaxed and new traditions are being made, any bride can feel confidant in camo, whether she’s showing her patriotic side, her love of the outdoors, or her fashion-forward persona.
