Winter wedding flowers: white amaryllis, calla lilies, orchids, tulips, and anemones

Wedding color: red, white, grey, gold

Wedding theme: formal wedding, church wedding, destination wedding

So the winter theme wedding invitations can have many designs. You choose simple design for winter wedding invitations, just black pictures(like flowers, leaves, monogram……) on white background. You can also add ribbon on the white winter wedding invites or traditional wedding invitations.

Folded wedding invitations are perfect for winter weddings or formal weddings. But it is more expensive than flat invitation cards. Folded wedding invitations with embossed floral pattern in white accented in gold make your wedding invitation cards modern and gorgeous.

Is It Necessary to Buy New Bridesmaids Dresses?

March 8th, 2011 admin Posted in Wedding announcement No Comments »

Bridesmaid dresses are in great demand these days. The attention that it gets and the business to provide the beautiful ones for customers are growing. However, it is necessary for you to buy brand new dresses for such occasion? If you are the bride and are on tight budget, it will be better to discuss with your bridesmaids and asking them to get their own dresses that complement your theme colour. Your girls may be able to use her existing dress or buy on her own if she wants. You should discuss nicely and they will be able to understand. After all, it is your special day and they are your friends.

Even if you could afford to buy new bridesmaid dresses, it is not necessary to splurge too much money on this. You could shop for cheap and affordable ones which are elegant and beautiful just as well. You and your bridesmaids could browse available online sites which sell these dresses or go to the shops to see for it yourselves. There may be suitable ones that will look good on the girls. Beware of a few matters though. Do not buy bad quality ones and settle with ugly looking ones. Always ask the opinions of your girls and you will end up buying affordable yet nice dresses for them.

Rather than buying new bridesmaids’ dresses, why not make use of tailors? If the cost is as much as going for tailor made ones, you could make it more special by getting the dresses tailored for the girls. If you have a friend or relatives who are a tailor, it will be better to hire his or her services. You can easily tell of your intended designs and together work out a proper dress for the bridesmaids. It will certainly be unique when it is tailor made.

THE LITTLE DETAILS: THE RESTROOMS

May 31st, 2010 admin Posted in Wedding announcement 2 Comments »

It’s such a small point, and I admit I couldn’t deal with this on top of all my other wedding plans when I was designing my own wedding! But there were so many things I wish I had had the time or money to do in the restroom! Paying attention to little details in the restroom shows your guests how much you were thinking of every aspect of your wedding, and they will remember your special touches. Here are some ideas:

 1.      Stock pretty baskets—one with mints, one with chocolates, and one with hard candies.

2.      Have a box full of monogrammed matchboxes that guests can take with them.

3.      Have monogrammed linen towels for guests to dry their hands.

4.      Have a  basket full of products like hairspray, tampons, bandaids, clear nail polish, and other items females especially might want.

5.      Place vases full of flowers in the restrooms.

6.      Write a little poem or quote on the mirror.

7.      Have tiny bottles of perfume sample available for women to take home.

8.      Play soothing music.

9.      Set out baskets of sweethearts or other candies with special messages.

10.  Have special scented soaps, or little bars for each guest, individually wrapped.

11.  Light candles.

Even doing one of these special details will make even the most unexpected event memorable for your guests!

How to get Creative with Photography and Videography

October 12th, 2009 admin Posted in Wedding announcement 9 Comments »

1. As a surprise for your groom, hire a photographer to take classy but sexy boudoir photographs of you in a 1940s-inspired outfit.

2. The Day After: Travel to a fun location the day after your wedding, in your wedding dress and your groom in his tux, so you have more time and freedom to pose and get great shots. For example—the beach; a mountaintop; the local diner; the subway. Or return to the place where you met.

3. Underwater shots: If you have access to a pool, shots underwater would make wonderfully creative day-after-wedding shots! And so much fun!

4. Shots from far above the dance floor are fabulous. Shots from the dance floor (i.e. lying on the ground looking up at all the dancers) are even more fabulous.

5. Hire a photographer to take photographs of you on your honeymoon.

6. Use a beautiful moment of video to make flipbooks for your close family and friends. Flipclips.com makes them relatively inexpensively!

7. Make use of shadows if it’s a sunny day, and reflections in puddles if it’s raining.

8. Recreate a photographic or videographic moment from your parents’ or grandparents’ wedding, such as getting the same kind of getaway car and kissing in the back window as you drive away.

9. Release dozens of balloons as you exit the church—the photography and videography of that moment will be amazing.

10. Collect video clips of various family members’ weddings, and project them silently onto a wall during your cocktail hour or reception.

Bride Dresses – Look Fabulous on Your Wedding Day

August 28th, 2009 admin Posted in Wedding announcement No Comments »

“Wow, you look amazing!” -Such phrase depicts admiration and it is well deserved by those who have accomplished correct grooming and dressing skills. As a bride, you hope to look your best on your wedding day. Beyond that wonderfully done makeup and coiffed hair, your choice of bridal dress reflects your taste and serves to enhance your overall look. A bridal dress or gown will look good on you when you feel comfortable in it. The variety of bride dresses and bridesmaid dresses available today will have your spoilt for choice!

E1

Elegant, simple, classy or girlish – there is a bridal dress that will cater to your unique preference. You should first determine the theme of your wedding and choose a suitable dress to match that theme. Color and fit are important elements to consider because your choice should include a suitable color for the occasion (i.e. beach, park) and also customized fitting to match your proportions (bust, waist and hip) correctly. When you’ve got these two details correct, you will feel at ease perusing the wide variety of bride dresses available.

Bridesmaid dresses are generally simpler than bride dresses but by no means less beautiful. They should be equally well chosen to reflect the best of the bridesmaid and also to complement the overall theme of the wedding. Bridesmaids are those helping the bride in preparation for the wedding and they can be a source of wonderful help and inspiration in decision made by the bride. As a bride, you should ensure that your bridesmaid look equally gorgeous because it shows that you have taken the effort to care for them!

Choose well and make your wedding a memorable experience. As you recall your wedding day, your dress will bring back fond memories because you have put your effort in choosing the best for yourself.
